Fiona Sturges
For twenty years Fiona has worked as an interviewer, reviewer and columnist for The Independent and Independent on Sunday newspapers, and freelanced for The Evening Standard, The Observer, The Telegraph, The Scotsman and Uncut magazine.
Since leaving The Independent in 2016 when the paper closed, she has joined the Financial Times as a weekly arts columnist, and write features and reviews for The Guardian and the i paper. She has contributed to an anthology on music and feminism, Under My Thumb (Repeater Books), published in autumn 2017, and also lectures in journalism at Southampton Solent University.
